Gary Gensler and the SEC Lose Once Again

Is Gary Gensler ever going to win a case? On Tuesday the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals handed the Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman another legal defeat by scuttling the company’s stock-buyback guideline ( U.S. Chamber of Commerce v. SEC)

The SEC in Might completed a guideline needing public business to divulge their everyday share repurchases and the factor for redeeming their stock. Mr. Gensler declared business may redeem their stock to improve executive settlement, which is in some cases connected to accounting metrics such as revenues per share.
